The Chinese Gardens Camping Ground is situated on the Main Road approximately 2 km north of the centre of Walhalla township. This picturesque area on the banks of Stringer’s Creek is in the small valley farmed by Chinese market gardeners during the height of Walhalla’s gold rush in the late 1800’s and early 1900’s. This is a PAID camping area and pre-booking of sites must be made via the website link. Bookings are ESSENTIAL.
